Zack's Shuriken Blade Practice

My drive to draw got diminished so I thought I'd do something small and figured I'd practice on a future item that Zack will obtain later on.

This here is Zack's shuriken blade he gets from a Merchant friend. While Zack tends to haggle from the Merchants that causes trouble, he does good business with the friendly Merchants. Anyway, Zack's blade was originally built to be a training tool for defense and counter attacks against areal attacks and enemies.

The blade is actually made of a rubber-like material that's very durable and designed to take a lot of attacks without breaking. But its no good as an actual weapon alone. That's where Zack channels his Slash attack through the blade and uses it like an extension of his arm fins.

The various sketches are of Zack posing with his blade in various stances.The first is a typical dueling stance, kind of a formality during certain battles.

Though it doesn't show it, Zack's gonna get a new backpack since his travel bag ripped badly during E6.2, the bag is also gonna act like a sheath to the blade so I have the second sketch with him holding the blade across his back partially because that's where the backpack's gonna go.

The third sketch is what I call the "arm guard" where Zack holds the bottom of the ring palm down, with the blade resting on top of his arm. It'll act like a mild shield, but could also be used like a back-hand fighting style with the blade also coordinating with Zack's arm fin.

The forth one in the right corner is a hard stance to describe. Imagine the "arm guard" above but with the hand holding the ring palm up and the other paw gripping the side of the ring like a sword handle. It creates an interesting pose, but I don't see it as effective.

Finally, there's an example of Zack's throwing style. I like the second one of that best. I think that's the best sketch version I ever did of Zack.

Then, of course, there's the final versions I made to see how it would work. Plus an example of the Shuriken both folded up and split into four blades. I know I made the ring Zack is holding wrong...

I KNOW this item will cause a lot of controversy among all of my peers, so please don't bother me with that, ESPECIALLY since I haven't even started using it yet. Its an unofficial item so I won't register it in my app as an actual item. If you don't like it, you don't have to use it in your cameo of my team.
