Hearth's Warming Stories

FINALLY got this done. Sorry for the lateness of this all. This here was meant to be a Christmas artwork for the 's Christmas special. But of course, I couldn't make it in time... Not even for the follow up stream of late works... Or just before the New Year...

Oh well... Better late than never. Anyway, this actually was made based on two artworks made by my favorite brony duo, and . Their arworks made are;"Warm hearts eve" and "Holiday Cocoa" respectfully. Late Customer commented in his artwork saying "All we need now is for someone to do a take on Dashie and Scoots, and we have all three sister sets." SO like a total derp that I am, and DESPITE having my own stuff I need to get through, I decided to take him up on that offer and make an artwork to complete the set proper.

And THUS this picture was made, an artwork of Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo spending an evening of Hearth's Warming together after opening some presents. Pegasus style! Tank, being a reptile, is currently hibernating away while the two surrogate sisters snuggle up on Rainbow's cloud couch to read a Hearth's Warming story; "Daring Do and the Fire of Friendship." I hope you all like this, even if its out late.

I personally feel that the Pegasi celebrate Hearths Warming a little differently than other tribes, since most live in cloud homes. You got the tree and presents, yes. But the tree is made of clouds sprinkling iced droplets for ornaments, and the topper is a large snow flake. Certainly seems like an interesting idea, and something a Pegasus would do I think.
