Eevee in a Barrel

Hey guys, I bet your all wondering what the heck this thing is. Well this pic is a fake screenshot of a small scene in a little animated idea I came up with, all from listening to Pikachu's Coming from the pikachu short: Pikachu's Pikaboo.

Now let me explain, this is apart of the scene where Everyone dashes off to find a hiding spot while Pikachu counts and the song plays. Its a PMD recreated idea of the music scene in Pikachu's Pikaboo, with the same song playing in the background.

Why don't you guys listen to the music while I tell how the whole thing goes scene by scene as the song plays?

First off, the back story: Team Rangers is suddenly put upon the job of taking care of all the child pokemon of each of their friends' teams.(such as Snow and Joshua of the Night Chasers as well as others.) In order to help keep the kids under control and well entertained, Zack decides that they should play hide and seek.

So all the kids, as well as some other pokemon who came to help,(ie:team Dark Aura and Pikachu) gathered around Zack as he readies to throw a stick in the air to choose who's going to be it.

[music starts] (I suggest you watch the scene this is based on as well to get a good idea of how some scenes happen and when)

Zack twirls the stick around a bit before finally throwing it into the air. The stick falls on its stem and begin to spin around attempting to fall, but all the pokemon gather around to blow at it so it wouldn't fall towards them. But suddenly, Zack sneezes, and the stick falls to point straight at pikachu. Everyone cheers as Pikachu accepts his predicament, and as Pikachu heads over to the Snowflake Memorial to count, everybody scatters to find a hiding place. However, one small pokemon seems too young to understand the rules of the game as it runs up to Pikachu and attempts to count with him. Zack sees this and quickly picks up the youth to carry it away and help it find a hiding place.

The first one to claim a hiding place would be Xavior of team Everheart, who uses his Fury Swipes to quickly dig a hole and dive head first into it, leaving his tail sticking out to transform into a bush. Next up was Moizing of team Dawnrisers, who attempts to pass himself off as a garden statue by mimicking one standing right next to him. One of the 'mons playing comes over to laugh at him and he's forced to move to another spot. This time he disguises himself as a bird hat on another statue, but another laughing watcher forces him to move again. Thirds times a charm, Moizing poses in front of a fountain statue to make himself look like waters poring form his beak. But AGAIN another pokemon comes up to spot him, so he runs off to find another hiding place.

Ora, who was the last pokemon to laugh at Moizing's antics, actually took a page form his book and illusioned herself as a garden statue, with a rather interesting looking tail... Next up is Zack who finds himself at the statue fountain. Making sure nobody sees him, Zack dunks his head into the fountain pool, only to be greeted by Perfectly Legal who give him an ear full as he pulls his head back out and quickly runs off with his paws to his ears.(Thank GOODNESS the music is all that you can hear in this scene...)

This is the second half of the song, showing the rest of the pokemon running through another part of the village to find hiding spots. Joshua of the the Night Chasers decides to run through the Rescuer's tree house with Snow trying to catch up. They run past a room disturbing Mike and Opal, and even making Mike spin like a top before the two look onward in confusion.

And now comes the moment you've all have been waiting for. Alex is wandering the village when he sees a barrel around the corner. Exited, he runs up to jump on a small crate and cannon balls in. But suddenly he realities he's not alone and slowly rises his head with the stranger to reveal Nyx was in the barrel with him, and the two were touching noses. Embarrasses, Alex turns and hops out of the barrel to find another hiding spot while Nyx touches her nose in consideration before putting on a rather rye smile and giggle. Alex is about to leave before his finds himself stopped. He turns around to see Nyx biting on his tail. Before Alex knew what was going on in this shiny Umbreon's mind, Alex was suddenly quickly dragged, tail first, back into the barrel. It then shows a cutout of the barrel, with both Alex and Nyx huddled together in the semi tight space. Alex looks embarrasses, but acceptant, as Nyx giggles about her now revealed plan to share her hiding spot with the young Eevee.

The rest of the scene is just a few quickies of the remaining pokemon hiding in their new found places. Some are creative, like Snow and Joshua finding a bush to keep hidden in. While others were just plain silly, like Ari and Jaz doing a totem pole bit while wedged in a narrow alleyway, or Moizing using snorkeling gear to hide under the water in the fountain while Perfectly Legal glares at him from both sides. Then the scene shows all of Tao seemingly empty and peaceful as every 'mon were tucked in to their little secret places.

And of course, the title comes up, "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Hide and Go Seek." (or something...) Then we come back to Pikachu counting the last numbers until the song ends, and Pikachu begins his trek to find all the hidden pokemon.

I gonna state this out right now, I'm not changing my mind on Alex's future love interest, and I'm not giving in to everybody wanting Alex and Nyx to connect.(even if this pic doesn't help my cause...)

Arguments aside, I hope you like the little story I posted, and I sure hope you like this screenshot. I worked hard on it, but I feel I need to do more in order to get my pokemon anime inspired backgrounds right. Thanks for taking the time to read this WHOLE DARN THING!XD
